Our Drop-off Service option if for our clients who can not use our on-site sharpening service, however want to the convenience of dropping and picking up their tools at times which accommodates their schedule.  

 

Our drop-off sharpening process is very simple:

1. Contact us at 587-333-1779 or PrarieEdgeService@gmail.com and confirm that a locker is available for your drop prior to coming to the drop off location.  Our drop off location is at the front entrance of 55 Rockbluff Close NW, Calgary, Alberta.
2. When you arrive at the drop-off location, select a locker which still has a key in the lock.  Place your tools in the supplied container.  
3. Complete order form with contact information, how you wish to pay for the service, and list the items you are dropping off.  Please list any specific uses or instructions regarding how you use your tools.   It helps us tailor the sharpening specific to your use.  You can download and prepare the order form in advance using our order form download button.
4. Ensure the completed order form is remains in the locker with your tools.  Tool deposits without completed order forms can be subject to disposal.  It is not our responsibility to determine who's tools were dropped off if there is no order form with the tools.
5. Close and lock the locker, which contains your tools.  Take the key with you.  You have a key and we have a key to this locker.   Let us know you have dropped off your sharpening order.
6. We will retrieve your tools from the locker.  We will analyse your tool condition and provide you with a written invoice, indicating all conditions and service costs.  If acceptable, we require invoice payment in advance or an acceptance notification before we will start to sharpen your tools.
7. If we do not receive acceptance notification, we will return your tools to the same locker in the same condition and you can retrieve then at your convenience.  Tools left longer than 10 days are subject to disposal.
8. When we receive the acceptance notification, we will proceed to sharpen your tools.  We will notify you when your tools are sharpened and ready for pickup.  
9. Pre-Payment Option:  If you have already paid the invoice we will return your tools to the same drop-off locker and you can retrieve then at your convenience.  You just leave the key in the locker's lock after retrieving your tools.
10. In-Person Payment Option:  If you elect to pay in person, please contact us to arrange a time to meet at the drop off location to process the payment and receive your tools.
11. Enjoy your newly sharpened tools.  Remember they are sharp!  Please handle with care.  Be sure to share your experience with us or your friends.
